counter in place in sidebar.

Finally got myself a hit counter. About time- after two years.

My next goal should be to get more on the case of putting in links to other cool blogs that I frequently visit..

Here are by the way some kits that I bought at the norwegian QXL site (auction site) Cool. But it's gonna be a tedious work doing them; one thread and tiny, tiny cross stitches.... Will this really match my personality???? (I'm impatient enough to work on many types of crafts at the same time)

Month of May

....was a busy month for me. it isn't quite over yet, but almost.

I'm not doing any knitting these days, got a little tired of it. But I do crochet in between work and chores and sleeping. Have made six coasters for the girl we know who sometimes sleep over to be with our girls if we parents go away for the night. I don't have a photo of them, made them with cotton, beige. But I started on a new set for another friend, on this photo you see the first one and it is similar to the set I already made, except in white.

In between I make some more squares for the blanket I already posted a photo of in April. I'd like three more rows on it, then it is done.

Wanted to put a photo here of a duck I made a few years ago. I gave it to my mother for Christmas- now she gave me the duck back! (Don't ask why...) I like it. I found the pattern in a Kaffe Fassett book. It took me forever to do it because it has so many colours and shades of the same colour that it was first and foremost a do-on-the-porch-in- broad- daylight- kind of work. I do have the pattern for the other duck to go with it- but that'll have to be sewn in another few years- when I have completely forgotten how much work it was! It is a cushion by the way.
